Junkin with my Dad

I got the love of junk, junkin, vintage, garage sales, estate sales, stuff with a story….from my Dad. A few years ago we moved them to Grand Haven. Since then my Dad and I have spent nearly every Friday junkin. (We also squeeze in as many sales as we can on other days of the week). We’ve been all over Michigan and Indiana. We have filled the truck bed three layers deep and then the “bummer” days when there is no good junk to be found.

One of my favorite things about junkin with my Dad is all the friends we have made along the way. It’s fun going to estate sales and seeing old friends too. Plus, we love finding a great deal, or treasure, or something so cool.

A few months ago my oldest son went junkin for a day with us and captured this video.
