127 (2020) - McCoy Finds

28 pieces of McCoy this year! An impressive 28 pieces found. My first stop I snagged two, then second stop was six, third stop was 14….after that it was one here and one there. My lost stop involved the McCoy duck (a favorite for everyone).

It’s always fun on the Antique Trail because you never know what you will find, but I’ve never found this many McCoy pieces in one trip. Apparently it doesn’t take much to get me excited at yard sales ;0

McCoy pottery is my very favorite. More than 25 years ago I bought my first piece at a garage sale for 25 cents. I bought it because I loved the color and shape of it. About few years after that I stumbled across another piece….same color and design. It was then I realized they both were stamped McCoy on the bottom. (of course this was before the internet, so off to the library I went). It’s been nothing but McCoy Pottery Love for me ever since.

And in case you didn’t know this….I have a 9-year-old springer spaniel/beagle mix dog ..named McCoy <3.
